I recently stayed one night at Caer Rhun Hall Hotel and it completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel’s grandeur, charm, and character are simply stunning. I arrived in the evening when it was dark, and honestly it felt like stepping onto a Harry Potter movie set , the building is absolutely epic. The staff were warm, hospitable, and very helpful. Before long I’d checked into my room and was relaxing downstairs in the lounge with a cold beer, the perfect way to unwind. After an early night, I woke up refreshed and enjoyed a peaceful walk around the beautiful gardens before breakfast. With my bag packed and a good start to the day, I left feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of my journey. I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely be returning with the family for a longer visit next time. Huge thanks to all the staff for making my short stay so memorable. Thanks again, Mark

Beautiful historic hotel with comfortable and well-appointed rooms. The peaceful grounds made it a lovely place to relax and unwind. The staff were friendly and welcoming, solving most if any problems with haste. It’s a great base for exploring the countryside and the nearby coast, would happily stay again!

Wow! Where do I start. We arrived very achy after climbing Snowdon and were immediately very impressed with the facade and grounds. Checking in, we were given a wonderfully warm welcome by staff so first impressions were off to a great start. We booked one of their master suites and my jaw hit the floor when we entered the room! In my 40 years I have never been blown away by a room before. The suite is spacious, luxurious, bougie and elegant. The free standing bath was a blessing after our walk and I enjoyed 3 baths during my stay! The amenities were top notch, coffee and tea, dressing gowns, the white company bath and shower products were a touch of class! The bathroom also was huge with a massive shower and double sinks! The bar was quiet with a large array of drinks, the beer on tap was of very good quality! The rooms downstairs are reminiscent of the traitors castle and we enjoyed playing a game of chess in the bar in front of a roaring fire. With all of the above being very impressive, it was the staff that gave this place the je ne sais quoi! We were very impressed with them from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I already cannot wait to return!

We stayed 1 night in the beautiful Anderson Suite. The room is amazing with a beautiful view of the grounds. There is a roll top bath, a selection of toiletries, robes, a coffee machine, bottles of water and caramel waffles. The room was spotless. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. There is currently no on site restaurant but we ate with the Supper Club at the hotel. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. If there is no Supper Club, you can order food in, the hotel offers a selection of menus. There are also recommended local eateries if you want to venture out. The hotel is very grand and luxurious with beautiful decor, it has been respectfully restored. As we visited in December, there were Christmas decorations and an amazing tree. There is an open fire in the bar and a lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was continental, with lovely fresh produce. Pancakes, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, smoked salmon, cooked meats, cereals, cheese etc. Overall good quality and very filling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Ok so confession i messed up my booking through Booking.com. My fault entirely. Hands up. A quick phone call to the hotel a couple weeks prior to check in, and the super helpful receptionist resolved my issue, guided me through the steps and all was well. On arrival- wow the hotel is spectacular! I decided to upgrade when we arrived, as it was the fiancé’s birthday and i wanted to spoil her. 2 staff in particular… Lisa & Maniya…. These two are the best! Helped with my upgrade, helped me suprise my wife, they both went above and beyond to help and to make our stay a special one. Guys i genuinely cant Thank you enough. We had a master suite. Giant double ended bath, massive comfy bed, ensuite walk in shower, spectacular views over the gardens. Continental breakfast was amazing too. Im only gutted we only stayed for one night…however we might have found our wedding venue

We had a wonderful stay. The staff are incredibly friendly – truly lovely people who make you feel welcome straight away. The hotel is extremely dog-friendly. Our dog even received a little gift box with toys and treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful, with soft background music and beautiful design throughout. The garden was a real highlight – a swing hanging from a huge tree, lit up in purple lights, made it feel like a little wonderland and quickly became our favourite spot. A truly relaxing place – we would happily return.

Had a wonderful stay last night. Very welcoming and friendly members of staff. Lounge and bar areas very cosy and inviting. Very clean and well looked after throughout the property. A beer and spirit with mixer cost approx. £15.00. The grounds were immaculate and is located in a quiet area. I stayed in room 207, again immaculate. Only down side for me was the window didn't open in this room, and upon arrival the hallways and room had the radiators set to the highest, so was very stuffy. Turning the radiators down to the lowest did help alot, but was slightly too warm for me personally. That was my only niggle. But I have not marked it down for this. Would return.

Had a fantastic stay here last week, the reception team were amazing and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had a lovely view of the gardens. There was a good selection of food at breakfast. They don’t have a lift but that wasn’t an issue for us. Great to find a hotel that’s dog friendly. Will be returning again in the summer when the weather is warmer.
